With over 15 years of investment management and financial planning experience, Keith’s responsibilities range from building customized investment portfolios to implementing sophisticated financial planning strategies for medical professionals, attorneys and professional athletes. GRID 202 Partners has developed an expertise in identifying private market investments that deliver attractive financial returns while achieving positive social impact. 

A Washington, D.C. native, he is one of fewer than 20 African American advisors in the United States who holds both the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designations.

Passionate about financial education — particularly in lower-income communities — Keith taught financial literacy for several semesters at the Washington Jesuit Academy near his hometown. Additionally, he has delivered numerous seminars and workshops to groups ranging from medical students to retirees.

Keith graduated from Carnegie Mellon's Tepper School of Business with honors and obtained his M.B.A. from UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, where he was a Dean's Fellow. He also sits on the board of North Carolina A&T’s Department of Family and Consumer Services, one of four CFP® Board-registered programs at a historically black college.

Kamila has nearly two decades of financial planning and investment experience assisting high net worth individuals, endowments & foundations and business owners with comprehensive wealth solutions and holistic planning.

Kamila spent most of her professional career at Vanguard working with ultra-high net worth individuals and endowments & foundations, inclusive of major universities, hospitals and other charitable organizations throughout the southeast U.S. Her client relationships ranged from $20M to $450M and represented $3B in total assets prior to leaving the role. She also worked at Dimensional Fund Advisors supporting financial advisors with investment solutions to meet the unique needs of their clients. 

Kamila is on the Board of Directors for the CFP Board. The CFP Board of Directors is the policy-making and oversight body of Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. for over 87,000 professionals in the U.S.  Kamila will serve as the Chair- Elect for the CFP Board of Directors in 2021, the first African-American woman and youngest ever to serve in that role.  She also serves on the Investment Committee for Women Against Abuse Inc. located in Philadelphia, PA , is a member of the Junior League of Atlanta and has been an active volunteer with the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.

Kamila obtained her B.A. and MBA from The Pennsylvania State University. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and holds licenses for Life, Health and Long-Term Care Insurance.

Brian works with GRID clients to address the four phases of their financial lives: creating and growing wealth, preserving and protecting wealth, planning for distributions during their lifetime and planning for distributions at their death in the most tax-efficient manner. He specializes in retirement planning, risk management, investment strategies and estate planning.

In 2004, Brian began his career as an investment analyst at Merrill Lynch Investment Management (now Blackrock). After building an investment strategy and due diligence foundation, Brian moved to the Merrill Lynch Private Banking & Investment Group, where he developed comprehensive financial plans for ultra-high-net-worth families in collaboration with portfolio managers, accountants and estate planning attorneys. Later, as a portfolio manager for U.S. Trust, Brian managed more than $400 million in investment assets for high-net-worth clients.

Brian is a Certified Financial Planner™ and received an undergraduate business degree from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business, graduating with honors. He earned his M.B.A. in finance from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, where he attained a full-tuition merit scholarship as a Woodruff Fellow. Over the course of his career, Brian also obtained a Masters in Educational Leadership from the Broad Institute at Yale School of Management.

Associate Planner and Impact Strategist

Deborah Adeyanju, CFA, MBA has nearly two decades of investment and financial services industry experience, spanning research, portfolio management, and writing. Her previous roles include managing an €8 billion institutional loan portfolio at Deutsche Bank and co-managing a $23 billion portfolio at JPMorgan as well as serving as the in-house Investment Writer for San Francisco Bay Area wealth management firm Litman Gregory and fintech LendingClub. 

Deborah has a particular passion for demystifying personal finance and investing, working with Gen X clients, and startups. She has written for Work+Money and ETF Report, among other publications.

Deborah graduated from the University of California at Berkeley, and went on to obtain her MBA from Georgetown University. She holds the CFA Institute’s Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, and is a Candidate for CFP®  Certification. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and participated in its first ever Virtual Externship program.

In addition to being an avid traveler, Deborah is also a Wine & Spirit Education Trust-certified wine expert.

Jose Lopes joined GRID in 2020 as an Associate Advisor. Throughout his career, his responsibilities have ranged from operational processing to portfolio management analysis. Jose is passionate about supporting his community through financial education. His work with GRID allows him to play an important role in helping clients grow and preserve generational wealth. 

He graduated from the University of Massachusetts Boston with a Master’s in Investment Management & Quantitative Finance. During his time at UMass, he co-founded the UMass Boston investment club before going on to manage a $130,000 portfolio as the President of the Student Managed Fund. He is now a candidate for Level 1 of the CFA exam, the first step toward achieving the prestigious CFA Charterholder designation.

Ken has over 18 years of diversified financial services experience including investment management for equity, fixed income and multi-asset class strategies. Over his extensive career which includes time on Wall Street he has managed large investment portfolios for ultra high net worth individuals as well as institutions. Previously, he worked for other financial firms including Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers. 

Ken has a Masters in Finance from London Business School, an MBA from the University of Michigan and a Bachelors in Finance from Loyola Marymount University.

He is a Charterholder of both the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations.

Laura Ricaldi is passionate about financial planning and has always had a passion for teaching.  After completing her undergraduate degree in Accounting, she worked as a mutual fund accountant in New York City.  Moving back to her home state of Texas, she decided to pursue more education and received a MBA with an emphasis in Management and Leadership Skills.  During her last semester of her MBA, Laura took a financial literacy class and fell in love with financial planning.  The desire to help friends and family struggling with financial issues became the motivation to pursue more education, prompting her to pursue a Ph.D. in Personal Financial Planning at Texas Tech University.  Laura consdiers herself a lifelong learner and enjoys applying rigorous research methods to the financial planning profession.  She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and enjoys helping students study for and pass the CFP® Exam. Laura is currently assistant department chair of one of the largest personal financial planning programs in the United States.

Michael has over a decade of financial services experience working with companies such as Prudential and Lincoln Financial. He enjoys working with both the young professional needing to understand their options, and the baby boomer needing to maximize income. Over the years, he’s observed a tremendous gap in knowledge between today’s retiring generation and the ones just now starting to save. People may not be able to rely on the strategies used by previous generations of Financial Planners. 

Michael has developed deep expertise in insurance solutions for clients with a variety of needs and objectives. He prides himself on sharing his knowledge with GRID clients - and doing so in a transparent, objective manner. Michael graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he studied Dramatic Art and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.
